Dal bhat is a traditional Nepali staple food consisting of
cooked steamed rice or sometimes other cereal dhal and lentil soup dal.It is
generally eaten twice a day mid morning and early evening quite healthy food .It is also called dal bhat tarkari there many
also be curry mad of chicken got meat or fish . Dal bhat is often served with
tarkari amix of available seasonal vegetables. Nepalese public plate, dal bhat is an inexpensive and tasty meal to
eat whilst trekking. If you order dal bhat at a lodge or tea house, any extra
dal or bhat you need to satisfy your appetite is usually free. Porters
sometimes refer to a hill climb as a '3 dhal-bhat' hill. You may hear a Nepal
is joke about 'double dal-bhat' for real hunger or trekker greed. I had taken picture of Dal Vat
from Annapurna Ghandrung village. It is very hygienic and testy. The vegetable
is organic. We had spent one night in Ghandruk Guest House one night.
